Checkup and Clean

Congratulations for taking initiative to maintain your oral health! I know having a dental checkup is not the first idea which springs to mind when you have free time, but I promise that it is worth it to have immaculate oral hygiene. Everyday, we see patients with oral health problems that could be prevented simply with regular checkups and cleans. Hence, we take a strong stance about the importance of preventative dental care.

To ensure that our patients have the best oral hygiene possible, our practice offers a program which we call “Active Maintenance”. Within this program, patients receive X-Rays, cleaning and dental checkups every 6 months.

Your First Appointment

The first step to a healthy smile begins with setting up your first dental visit. Click on the button “Request a Consultation” to schedule a time to come in which best suits you. Our front desk will call you to confirm the time and day of the appointment, and will send you a reminder message the day before your appointment.

Please arrive 15min early for your appointment, so you have time to fill out the new patient form. You can relax in our lounge, with complimentary WiFi access, water, a flatscreen TV, and a children’s play area.

During your appointment, we will first take you to our X-Ray room to get your mouth scanned with our completely safe OPG machine. Next, our hygienist will examine your teeth as well as the scans to check for cavities, signs of gum disease, and any other indicators of potential oral health issues. We will then proceed to give you a comprehensive teeth cleaning, which removes the plaque and bacteria which your toothbrush alone cannot remove. Afterwards, we will give you a run down of the condition of your mouth, and whether or not you need any additional appointments after that. If not, you have the option of enrolling into our active maintenance program to make sure that your teeth stay healthy!
